Terms of use details
1. About this site
This website is operated by Global Care Blood Centre, A Unit of GCT Charitable Trust (R), a non-profit blood centre licensed by the Drug Controller, Govt. of Karnataka under licence number BBF28C2026KA000018. By using the site you accept these terms.
2. Not medical advice
Everything on this site — including eligibility guidance, the donation steps, and the answers to frequently asked questions — is general information to help you prepare for a visit. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for consulting a doctor.
Final eligibility to donate is always decided by our medical officer during screening at the centre, and that decision may differ from what you read here.
3. Availability of blood and components
Stock changes constantly. Nothing on this site is a promise that a particular blood group or component is available at a particular time. Please call us to confirm availability before travelling to the centre or sending a patient attendant.
4. Voluntary donation
Donation at Global Care Blood Centre is voluntary. We do not pay donors, and we do not accept donation under coercion. You may withdraw at any point before or during the process.
5. Accuracy and changes
We try to keep the information here correct and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors. We may change the content, the services described, or these terms at any time. Where a page carries a date, that date tells you when it was last revised.
6. Photographs on this site
Photographs of our premises are our own. Some images used to illustrate donation and laboratory work are licensed stock photographs or illustrations, and are included for context only — they do not depict our staff, our donors, or our equipment.
7. Intellectual property
The Global Care Blood Centre name, logo, and the content of this site belong to A Unit of GCT Charitable Trust (R) unless stated otherwise. Please do not reproduce them without permission.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction. For any question, contact us on 81 05 143 163 or at #36/28, Ground Floor, Cross, Mamthunagar Main Road, Below SBI Bank, Bengaluru – 560044.
